just nak share few points.. from the Q&A session for sisters this morning..

1. one asked about marriage; skg org mudamudi (esp Uni students) payah nak kawin cepat because family dok kata depa tak ready.. well, ready x ready tu biasa la.. but ai like the point that pak sheikh said: don’t low your dowry, if the person ade duit then y nak kasi dia free2 je kawin with u? betui pe.. skg llaki sibuk nak jimat bab2 kawin, complaining about hantaran, family demands etc2.. but when u look at the amount they r willing to spend on gadgets and their beloved car and games.. rasa cam nak cekik kan? hehehe.. so tapayah nak simpati unless depa mmg tak mampu..

Women are advised to treat their dowry as safety net; their savings (emergency fund if anything happen to the marriage) so i would like to suggest; ask for dinar emas for you mahar instead of rm22.50. ngehehehee :D

2. no problem with wearing burqini to swim (as long as tak jenjalan catwalk merata2 along the beach and pool), and pasang braces for utk tujuan cantikkan gigi.

ok. yg ni plak dari tajuk lecture: islamic culture, culture islamic. ade countries yg praktis pompuan bagi dowry kat lelaki, ade kes bakar bini kat bangladesh coz her family tak fulfilled the dowry.  This is a very dangerous culture yg against Islam. some culture takde kena mengena pun with islam.

another example yg the speaker up was, where is the barakah in sprinkling rosewater, campak2 daun pandan n flower petals to pengantin? manade berkat there. we need to be careful with mende2 yg org dok kata ‘amik berkat’ as it may lead to syirik kecil. kita kan manyak mende pelik2 remeh2 lam adat, so berhati-hati my dear fwenss.. jgn nak cuba2 soh aku rembat sirih pinang watsoever.. hahahahhaaha..

so if ade adat pelik2 and u nak scrap it off from ur life; maybe u can say this.. Yes I am a Malay, but i don’t want my religion to come second after it. We need to go with the right term: Islamic Malay, not Malay Islamic.
